HAAS Velox Clip N Go

Description

This version of the HAAS Velox Clip n Go is designed to attach to the ArbPro Clip’N Step boots.

The New HAAS Velox Clip n Go makes the original HAAS even Better. With an additional 18 inches of bungee in the system, the Velox is a one size fits all. Zero set up, efficient rope access tool. Now the snap is tied just above the ascender. It will extract out 30 inches, eliminating any set up, as well as “dead spots” in the return action. Still made by the guys at Haas tree gear in Ohio.

The bungee is terminated at the top of the Velox, travels down though a channel to the bottom where it is wrapped around a shiv with stainless steel sealed bearings inside a machined aluminum block for maximum friction reduction. It then returns back up a second channel where it is tied to the snap. The result is 31 inches of inline bungee are contained in the system at rest, allowing 30 inches to be extracted under load. Bungee is replaceable in under 5 min with no tools.

HAAS Velox Clip n Go

The Haas is a unique ascent tool designed by Michael Frankhauser from the U.S. It gives the climber an easier and faster way to ascend. It can be added to double rope systems, SRT systems, with the Rope Wrench, Hitchhiker, or without. The HAAS Features a fully integrated knee ascender that captures all of the advancement made by your other foot. It does this by allowing the bungee to run past the ascender all the way to the foot through a liner. It then pulls the lower tether and ascender up the line from the bottom when it is un-weighted. The result is a smooth efficient ergonomically correct ascent that uses major muscle groups evenly and drastically reduces fatigue and stress.
